CluckSquad Boss Guide
Tombs of Amascut (ToA)
Your first raid — difficulty dial you control, 1–8 players, and the Shadow at the end of the rainbow.
TL;DR — ToA is the most beginner-friendly raid in OSRS because YOU set the difficulty: the invocation system lets you start at raid level 0–150 (Entry mode) and crank it up as you learn. Complete Beneath Cursed Sands, do the four paths (Akkha, Ba-Ba, Kephri, Zebak), beat the Wardens, open the chest. Uniques include Osmumten's fang, Lightbearer, Masori armour and the Tumeken's shadow. Bring 1–7 clanmates — loot is per-player, no split drama.

How the invocation system works
Before the raid you toggle invocations — modifiers that add raid levels (harder bosses, more damage, less supplies…). Total raid level sets the mode: Entry 0–149, Normal 150–299, Expert 300–600. Every 5 raid levels adds ~2% to monster HP/defence/accuracy/damage. Higher level = better unique odds. The play: start at 50–150, learn every room, then climb. Nothing else in OSRS lets you tune a boss fight this cleanly.
The four paths (any order)
| Path | Boss | The one thing to know |
| Het | Akkha | Prayer-switch quadrants; memorise his elemental orbs — slow and methodical wins |
| Apmeken | Ba-Ba | The baboon gauntlet then a bruiser gorilla — dodge boulders, mind the edge |
| Scabaras | Kephri | Puzzle rooms then the beetle — shoot down her shield, dodge the bombs |
| Crondis | Zebak | Water puzzle then the croc — ranged boss, keep moving between waves |
Final · The Wardens
Two-phase finale: break the Obelisk while dodging, then burn the awakened Warden. It's a DPS check with simple movement — by the time you're here, you've already survived the hard part.
Recommended setup (Entry mode)
- Gear: your best of any style works at Entry. Fang/whip + trident + RCB or blowpipe covers everything. ToA loves versatility over max gear.
- Supplies mostly come from the raid itself: brew your potions at the nexus from harvested resources — bring some food, restores, and a rune pouch.
- Keep 1–2 brews-worth of headroom for the Wardens; deaths in Entry mode are forgiving (small supply toll, not gear loss).
The unique chest is individual — your loot depends on your points and the raid level. Dying repeatedly slashes your points, so at the start: survive first, DPS second.
The rewards
- Osmumten's fang — the mid-game melee weapon; accurate stab that makes every other boss easier.
- Lightbearer — spec-regen ring; changes whole fight plans (hi Vorkath claws).
- Elidinis' ward + Masori armour — BiS-tier magic shield and ranged set.
- Tumeken's shadow — the best magic weapon in the game. The dream drop.
- Plus consistent GE loot every chest, Thread of Elidinis, and the Tumeken's guardian pet.

Quick tips
- First raid: join a clan group via Discord at 150 with one experienced caller — you'll learn in 2 raids what solo trial-and-error teaches in 20.
- Raid level 150 is the sweet spot for learning Normal-mode odds without Expert punishment.
- Akkha's path is most mechanics-dense — do it first each raid while you're fresh.
- Fang first, everything else after: it's the drop that upgrades all your other PvM.
