OSRS is a better game with the right tools open on your second monitor. The community has built an incredible, free ecosystem of trackers, calculators and planners — and CluckSquad plugs straight into it. This is our curated list of the tools we actually use, what each one is for, and how to get started.

One rule up front: we only recommend tools that respect Jagex’s rules. No bots, no auto-clickers, no macros. They’ll get your account permanently banned and they’re not welcome in the clan. Every tool below is safe to use.

Track your progress: Wise Old Man

Wise Old Man is the backbone of CluckSquad’s stats. It tracks your gains over time, powers our clan competitions, and feeds our highscores. It’s open-source, free, and the community standard.

• Join our group: CluckSquad is WOM group 24798 — get added so your gains show on the clan highscores.
• What it does: XP/hr tracking, gains over any period, clan competitions (SOTW/BOTW), achievements and EHP/EHB.
• Why it matters: every event and leaderboard we run reads from WOM. If you’re not linked, you’re invisible on the boards.

Track it another way: TempleOSRS

TempleOSRS is the other big tracker, brilliant for competitions and deep stats. Group support, an hours-played algorithm, XP and boss records, and one of the best collection log ladders around. Worth having an account.

• collectionlog.net — share your collection log online via a RuneLite plugin. Perfect for flexing rare drops in our #flexes channel.
• RuneProfile and Clogger — track skills, boss KC and clog completion over time on a shareable profile page.

Plan your combat: DPS & gear tools

• OSRS Best in Slot — loads your stats from the hiscores and calculates max hit, accuracy, DPS and time-to-kill for any boss or Slayer monster across all styles. Essential before any new boss.
• GearScape — tells you the best gear setup for any NPC based on your budget, the items you own, and your preferred style.

Calculators & planners

• OSRS Wiki — the single most important tab you’ll ever have open. Money-making, boss strats, quest guides, drop rates and the live GE prices that power everything else.
• OSRSTools.net and OSRS Toolkit — max-hit calcs, skill planners, high-alch profit, herb-run profit, farming timers and clue guides on live GE data.

The one tool you actually play with: RuneLite

If you take one thing from this guide: use RuneLite, the official open-source client. It’s free, allowed by Jagex, and its plugins make almost everything above work in-game — including the plugins that feed DropTracker and your collection log automatically. Ask in Discord and we’ll share our recommended plugin setup.
