Before you start — two honest notes
- GP/hr numbers move. Every rate below is an estimate. Real profit swings with live Grand Exchange prices, your gear and your efficiency. Always sanity-check current prices on the OSRS Wiki money-making guide or in our clan’s Flip Finder tool before committing to a grind.
- The best method is the one you’ll actually do. A lower-GP/hr method you enjoy beats a meta method you burn out on in 20 minutes. Fun keeps you logged in; logged in is where the GP happens.
Free-to-play (0 GP to your first million)
You don’t need membership to build a starting bank. These are the reliable F2P earners:
- Cowhides (Lumbridge cow field): kill cows northeast of Lumbridge Castle on a busy world and bank the hides in Al Kharid. Low intensity, great for new accounts, and doubles as early combat XP.
- Making pie shells: roughly 300k+/hr of steady clicking with almost no requirements.
- Making dyes (Aggie, Draynor): around 300k/hr turning materials into dyes.
- High Alchemy: pair with a low-effort skill for passive GP while you do something else.

Early members (low-level, low-risk)
Just got membership? These need modest stats and get you rolling:
- Blast Furnace (with a group): turn ore and coal into bars far faster than a normal furnace. We run Blast Furnace trips in the clan — one of the best mid-tier money-and-Smithing methods, and much more fun with the squad.
- Glory charging and amulet stringing as you unlock the requirements — low effort, steady GP.
Mid-level combat (your first real GP/hr)
- Greater Nechryaels (Catacombs of Kourend): with Ancient Magicks (Ice Burst/Barrage) this can push 1–1.5M GP/hr plus Slayer XP. One of the best mid-game earners going.
- Abyssal Sire: around 800–900k GP/hr once you learn the phases — a great first proper boss for the money.
- Barrows: low-mechanic, low-risk and a genuinely nice introduction to PvM with steady returns.
High-level & bossing (bankrolling the fun stuff)
- Vorkath: a staple money boss, up to ~4.5M GP/hr with a strong setup. Consistent and soloable.
- Tombs of Amascut (ToA): scalable raid; at higher invocation (300–350) it’s 5–7M GP/hr with shots at huge uniques (Masori, Shadow). We form ToA teams regularly — learner-friendly.
- Chambers of Xeric / Theatre of Blood: raids can spike to 12–14M GP/hr with lucky splits. Variance is high; the clan is how you get consistent teams.
- Phosani’s Nightmare: ~6–8M GP/hr for skilled solo players.

Skilling money-makers (no combat required)
- Charging Amulets of Glory at the Fountain of Rune: up to ~1.6M GP/hr (Wilderness access needed — bring nothing you’d cry over).
- Crafting blood runes via the Abyss: 1.5–2M GP/hr at higher Runecraft, one of the best skilling incomes in the game.
- Herblore and high-level Crafting/Fletching when margins are good — always check live prices first.
Flipping — the no-combat money printer
Merching on the Grand Exchange is the great equaliser. No stats, no gear, no risk of death — just buying low and selling high on volume. It’s ideal for F2P, AFK players and anyone building a starter bank.
